Profile Settings
What are Profile Settings?
Profile Settings are your personal account settings. They cover the information tied to your user account — your name, contact details, language preference, and security options. These settings are separate from agent configuration and apply to your account regardless of which agents or widgets you work with.
To open Profile Settings, click the Profile button at the bottom of the left sidebar.
The settings are organized into four tabs: Profile, Account, Security, and Danger Zone.
Profile Tab
The Profile tab holds your personal information. This information is visible to other members of your team.

Fill in the fields you want to share and save your changes. None of these fields are required, but a complete profile makes it easier for your team to know who they are working with.
Account Tab
The Account tab manages your contact details and language preference.
Email — Your email address is shown here for reference but cannot be changed from this screen. If you need to update your email, contact support.
Phone number — You can add or update your phone number at any time. This is optional.
Language preference — Choose the language you want the emercai interface to display in. Changing this setting takes effect immediately after saving. Currently supported languages are English and German.
Security Tab
The Security tab lets you update your password.
To change your password, enter your current password, then type and confirm your new password. Your new password must match in both fields before the change can be saved.
After saving, you will continue to be logged in. Other active sessions are not affected.
Danger Zone
The Danger Zone tab contains actions that are permanent or end your current session.
Delete Account
Deleting your account permanently removes it from emercai. This action cannot be undone. You will be asked to confirm before the deletion proceeds.
Before deleting your account, consider what happens to content owned by you. Agents, widgets, and other resources you created as part of a team may be affected — check with your team before proceeding.
Logout
Click Logout to end your current session. You will be redirected to the login page. Your account and all its data remain intact.
FAQ
Can I change my email address?
Not directly from Profile Settings. Email changes require contacting support to verify ownership of the new address.
What happens to my agents when I delete my account?
Resources you created — agents, widgets, rules — may be removed along with your account. If you are part of a team, coordinate with your teammates before deleting your account so no shared work is lost.
Does changing my language preference affect my team?
No. The language preference is per account. Each team member can set their own language independently.
